The Scottish Social Services Council has launched a new online resource for training and learning – ‘Supporting Scotland’s Children – Core Knowledge and Values’ – replacing the previous Common Core, with refreshed content to reflect current policy priorities including Getting It Right For Every Child, The Promise and incorporation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.  Its purpose is to support consistent, collaborative, high-quality practice across services and keep the needs and rights of babies, children and young people at the centre of decisions.
