The annual Day of Prayer for those who have experienced abuse will be observed by the Catholic Church in Scotland on the first Friday of Lent - Friday 20th February 2026.  This day is set aside to provide opportunities for Catholic parishes and communities throughout Scotland to pray for the healing of all those who have suffered abuse.  Prayer resources are normally provided by the Scottish National Liturgical Commission on behalf of the Bishops' Conference of Scotland for use in parish churches and faith communities across Scotland.
