From Safeguarding Policy to Culture - Putting Paperwork into Practice
The 2026 Safeguarding Day for Religious will take place on Thursday 14th May in Christ the King Church Hall, 220 Carmunnock Road, Kings Park Glasgow G44 5AP. Organised by the SCSSA and the CRS, it provides members of Religious Congregations working in Scotland the opportunity to gather with sisters, brothers and clergy and reflect on their significant mission to help ensure that abuse is prevented.
This year's theme will be: From Policy to Culture - Putting Paperwork into Practice. The main speaker will be Sarah Ward, formerly Head of Safeguarding Training with the Religious Life Safeguarding Service (England & Wales) and now an independent Safeguarding Adviser. The programme will include time for prayer and the celebration of Mass. Lunch will be provided. No fee will be charged for participants.
