The programme is taking shape for the our National Safeguarding Conference on Saturday 8th November 2025 in the University of Strathclyde Technology & Innovation Centre, Glasgow.

With the theme "Journeying in Hope: Transforming the Safeguarding Culture of the Church", this year's conference will feature 2 keynote inputs, as well as time for supported reflection and discussion in breakout rooms.

• Keynote 1: Matthew McVarish, award-winning human rights activist and survivor of childhood sexual abuse.
• Keynote 2: Lucy Faithfull Foundation staff will offer practical advice on 'Responding to low-level concerns'.
• Breakout session will offer participants opportunities to obtain and share practical advice on various aspects of Safeguarding. (Details to follow)
